BS LLC Pricing Overview - 2024

At BS LLC, we specialize in three principal billing methodologies: Advance Payment (Retainer), Stipulated Sum (Milestone), and Time-Based Billing (Hourly). We provide details on these payment structures below:

Time-Based Billing (Hourly)

BS LLC applies a standard rate of $250 per hour across various roles and disciplines for blended tasks. For services requiring specific expertise, differentiated hourly rates are as follows:

  • Partners: $500 per hour
  • Strategy: $300 per hour
  • Design: $175 per hour
  • Project Management (PM): $125 per hour
  • Intern: $75 per hour

Clients may opt for hourly engagements with a pre-defined expenditure ceiling (Do Not Exceed the limit). Acceptance of these projects is contingent upon a mutual understanding of the project scope, deliverables, and a detailed refinement schedule.

Stipulated Sum (Milestone)

The total cost for milestone-based projects is established following a comprehensive discovery process to define the scope and deliverables. Pricing is calculated using the formula:

Anticipated Project Hours x Appropriate Hourly Rate = Total Project Cost

Payment schedules are aligned with the project lifecycle and are typically billed monthly over the project duration. Custom payment arrangements can be negotiated to accommodate specific client budget and timeline requirements.

Advance Payment (Retainer)

For retainer agreements, BS LLC bills a predetermined monthly rate corresponding to a block of hours as outlined in the project charter. Invoices are issued at the beginning of each month. The accumulated hours of work are reconciled against the prepaid retainer at the month's end, with a detailed statement provided to the client:

For instance, if a client's monthly retainer is based on the blended hourly rate of $250 and the total agreed hours are 20, the monthly fee would be $5,000. If 30 hours are utilized, including services from different roles with different rates, the additional charges would be calculated based on the hourly rates for the overage hours.

Regular updates and breakdowns of the work performed are provided to clients, helping to evaluate the effectiveness of the retainer setup.

Change Request Pricing

Additional services requested outside the agreed-upon scope are handled through Change Requests. These are quoted at the hourly rate appropriate to the role required and are managed via our Customer Portal & Ticketing System. Formal quotations are provided for client review and approval.

How to Login, View & Create Tickets in the BS LLC Customer Portal

Login Instructions:

  1. Access the Portal: Navigate to the BS LLC Customer Portal at https://knowledge.bsllc.biz/portal.
  2. First-Time Login: If this is your first time logging in, click on "Register Here" and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.

Viewing Tickets:

  1. Dashboard Overview: Once logged in, the client dashboard will display an overview of all your open and closed tickets.
  2. View My Tickets: Select "My Tickets" from the View dropdown menu to view your created tickets.
  3. View Organization Tickets: To see all open tickets for your organization, select "Organization Tickets."

Creating a New Ticket:

  1. Initiate Ticket Creation: Click your dashboard's "File a New Support Ticket" button.
  2. Fill Out Ticket Form: In the ticket creation form, provide the details of your request, including the subject, priority level, and any relevant notes or attachments. Additional guidance on priority selection, expected timelines, and pricing is available on the form.
  3. Submit the Ticket: After completing the necessary details, click the "Create" button to submit your ticket.

After Submission:

  • Ticket Tracking: Your new ticket will appear on your dashboard's list of open tickets. You can select the ticket to view its details, add notes or attachments, and communicate directly with the BS LLC team.

These steps ensure your requests are promptly addressed and managed efficiently via the BS LLC Customer Portal.

Payment Terms & Late Fees

BS LLC stipulates payment terms of Net 15, with a 5% monthly late fee applicable to balances outstanding beyond the 5-day grace period. We accept payments via checks, money orders, wire transfers, and credit cards (subject to a 3% processing fee). Overdue invoices over 90 days may be forwarded to a collections agency.
